Hand surgery

The hand surgeon performs common surgeries to treat hand conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, De Quervain syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture, osteoarthritis of the base of the thumb and tendon lesions; he/she also carries out wrist stabilisation procedures, which are complex and less frequent.

Wrist arthroscopy helps cure or stitch tears of the wrist meniscus. Hand surgeons also provide a medical permanence for hand injuries, ensuring a quick examination and treatment of hand trauma: nerve and tendon lesions, and digital replantation.
