About the dermatology department
In dermatology skin diseases are treated (such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungi) as well as diseases of the nails, mucosa, hair etc.). After close examination of the lesions the dermatologist takes a sample on which he carries out various studies to arrive at a correct diagnosis. Diagnosis and treatment of pigmented skin lesions (nevi or "beauty spots") is also part of dermatology, as well as problems caused by exposure to the sun or aging of the skin.
