About the clinical biology laboratory
The Clinical Biology laboratory is where we sample and analyse various biological fluids of human origin, such as blood, stools, urine, puncture liquids... These analyses are conducted under the responsibility of medical biologists who interpret the results in order to help come to a medical diagnosis.
The laboratory includes the following departments:
- Medical chemistry
- Haematology, flow cytometry, coagulation and immunohaematology
- Immunoserology
- Microbiology
The laboratory is BELAC accredited (n°668-MED), and the analyses covered by the accreditation certificate are carried out in accordance with the requirements of standard ISO15189.
