Wearing a mask at the Europe Hospitals

New arrangements have been made at the level of the Interministerial Conference. These provisions still need to be transcribed at the various regional and Community levels. In order to clarify the situation, the Management Committee of the Europe Hospitals, in consultation with the Hospital Hygiene Department, has taken the following decisions for its patients and visitors:

• Wearing a mask is recommended for direct or close contact with hospital staff
• Wearing a mask is highly recommended for vulnerable patients (e.g. immunocompromised, etc.) and their visitors
• Masks are highly recommended for patients with respiratory tract symptoms.
