PILATES CLASSES
The Europe Hospitals are offering Pilates classes for patients who are undergoing or have completed their oncology treatment. These sessions are specially adapted for oncology patients, allowing you to reconnect with your body and meet people who share a similar experience.

EUROFIT PROGRAMME
Patients undergoing cancer treatment are often faced with fatigue, lack of energy, muscular pain, a restricted social life and body image problems. The Eurofit programme is an exercise-based physical rehabilitation programme based on supervised training designed to improve patients' quality of life during or at the end of oncology treatment.
Course of a session
- Warm-up (joint, muscle, cardiovascular, etc.)
- Body work (aquagym, floor strengthening, strength training on machines, Nordic walking, step, etc.)
- Cardiovascular strengthening (bike, treadmill, etc.)
- Calming down (stretching, relaxation, relaxation therapy, etc.)
How do I join the programme?
On prescription from your oncologist, radiotherapist or referring doctor, who will ask you to contact the oncology liaison nurses. They will inform the oncology physiotherapist, who will arrange your first appointment.

Frequency: 1h30/week for 24 sessions

EURHOPE YOGA CARE
The Europe Hospitals are organising yoga sessions for their oncology patients who are undergoing treatment or have completed it. Through body movements and breathing exercises, yoga can help you to manage stress in the face of illness, to sleep, to mobilize, and so on’.
Where: St-Elisabeth and St-Michel sites
Frequency: from 3pm to 4pm, every other Thursday at Ste-Elisabeth and every other Friday at St-Michel, alternating.
