Welcome to Dr Ellen Hoornaert, who has joined the Internal Medicine Department

The Europe Hospitals would like to welcome Dr Ellen Hoornaert, who has recently joined the Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr Ellen Hoornaert graduated from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in 2017. She then worked as an assistant to specialise in internal medicine and infectious diseases. In 2023, she obtained the inter-university diploma in infectiology and completed her training with a final year at CHU St-Pierre in Brussels in 2024.

Passionate about general internal medicine and research into various pathologies, she is delighted to be joining the internal medicine team at the Europe Hospitals. Originally from Flanders, Dr Hoornaert is fluent in French, Dutch and English, and will be happy to welcome patients in their mother tongue.
