Appointment of Dr. Alexandros ALEXIS as Head of the Anesthesiology Department

The Board of Directors appointed Dr. Alexandros Alexis as Head of the Anesthesiology Department of the Europe Hospitals on January 21. Dr. Alexis has been working as an anesthesiologist at the Europe Hospitals since 2021.

Holding a Doctorate in Medicine from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD in Intensive Care from the University of Athens, he has a strong academic background further enhanced by an Executive MSc in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from the London School of Economics.

His career has led him to practice in renowned medical institutions across Europe, including Brussels, Paris, and Athens. His expertise in pediatric, surgical, and oncological anesthesia, as well as his contributions to research in intensive care, make him a significant asset to our hospital.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Dr. Prudhomme for leading the Anesthesiology Department with dedication and expertise in recent years.
